Ilevro Eye Drops are used to reduce pain and inflammation after cataract surgery. They also treat the symptoms of Ocular Pain and Inflammation.
Use Ilevro Eye Drop exactly as prescribed. Ilevro Eye Drops are usually instilled once a day, beginning one day before cataract surgery, on the day of the surgery, and for 14 days after the surgery.
Use Ilevro eye drops at around the same times every day. To apply Ilevro Eye Drops:
Increased Bleeding Time
With some nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including Ilevro Eye Drops, there exists the potential for an increased bleeding time due to interference with thrombocyte aggregation.
Delayed Healing
Topical nonsteroidal anti-in_ammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including Ilevro Eye Drops, may slow or delay healing.
Corneal Effects
Using topical NSAIDs, Ilevro Eye Drops may result in keratitis. It may result in epithelial breakdown, corneal thinning, erosion, ulceration or perforation. These events may be sight-threatening sight-threatening.
Contact Lens Wear
Ilevro Eye Drops should not be administered using contact lenses.

Nepafenac has not been evaluated in long-term carcinogenicity studies.
Non-teratogenic Effects
Because of the known effects of prostaglandin biosynthesis inhibiting drugs on the fetal cardiovascular system, Ilevro Eye Drops should be avoided during late pregnancy.
Geriatric Use
No overall differences in safety and effectiveness have been observed between elderly and younger patients.

Are Ilevro Eye Drops supposed to burn?
Burning or stinging right after a dose is a common side effect of using Ilevro Eye Drops, but it should only last for a few minutes. Let your provider know if the burning or irritation doesn't go away.
How long can you use Ilevro Eye Drops?
Start Ilevro Eye Drops the day before cataract surgery and continues using them for two weeks after surgery. Please only take it for a longer amount of time if your provider instructs you to do so.
What side effects can Ilevro Eye Drops cause?
Ilevro Eye Drops temporarily sting or burn your eyes for 1-2 minutes when applied. Eye redness and headache may also occur.
